Sale of Automatia Pankkiautomaatit Oy to Loomis AB

“A new owner focusing on cash and payment services on an international scale is able to secure excellent conditions for continued supply of high-quality cash services in the future. New ownership structure solidifies Automatia’s role as an independent expert and service provider. The transaction does not impact Automatia’s services towards consumers”, states Petri Nikkilä, Automatia’s chairman of the board.

 

Danske Bank, Nordea and OP Financial Group sell 100% of the shares in Automatia Pankkiautomaatit Oy to cash-handling specialist Loomis AB. The sellers have entered into long-term service agreements in conjunction with the transaction and the sellers continue as Automatia’s customers. The transactions does not impact Automatia’s services, such as the operation of Otto ATM network.

 

In conjunction with the transaction, Nordea and OP acquire the rights to Automatia’s Siirto brand. Nordea and OP continue the provision of Siirto services to their respective customers as before.

 

Automatia Pankkiautomaatit Oy provides banks with operation and development of Otto-, OttoPlus and TalletusOtto ATMs, cash management services and Siirto digital payment platform.
