HLP advised Omena Hotels in share issue, where it received essential financing for future growth after ending its debt restructuring program.
The Finnish Omena Hotels is a unique self-service hotel chain, whose business idea is based on customer self-service, a location in the city center and always low prices. The room is booked and paid for via the mobile application or website, and the hotels do not have separate check-in or check-out processes, but are instead accessed via a mobile application or your own door code. The company currently has eight hotels, two in Helsinki and Turku and one in Jyväskylä, Pori, Tampere and Vaasa. The company’s turnover in 2019 was approximately EUR 9.8m. Omena Hotels was established in 2001.
