The Viessmann Group is one of the leading international manufacturers of heating systems. The family-owned business, which was founded in 1917, employs 10,600 people and achieves a turnover of EUR 1.89 billion. Viessmann has an international presence, with 27 manufacturing facilities in 11 countries, distributors and agents in 74 countries and 120 sales offices worldwide. 54 percent of the company’s sales are derived from export activities.
Norpe is one of the Europe’s leading provider of innovative commercial refrigeration solutions. The company was founded in 1953 and has been part of the retail solutions’ development for 60 years. Over the past ten years more than 200,000 meters of remote cabinets and 100,000 units of plug-in cabinets have been produced in the Norpe factories. MB Funds has been the majority owner of Norpe since 2005. In 2012 the company revenue was over 130 million Euro and 80 percent of the sales were derived from export. Of 450 employees, nearly 360 are based in Finland, whereas a staff of 100 is assigned to the company subsidiaries in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Germany, Poland and Estonia, the sales office in Latvia and the representative office in Russia.
